The thing I liked more in this joke is it: I understood the english. Simple, anybody can read it.

Glad you got it! I like to cut dialogue down to the bare essentials as much as I can, just to keep the momentum. I never thought of the added benefit of non-native English speakers being able to read it more easily. That’s great!
