woo hoo another book lover, i really love readintg books as well, mind you he should try reading the revised editon of “how to steal rent and grocery money from the guy sitting next to you” it has in bold letters on the front page DONT READ OUT LOUD.
mind you having that guy come along and sit beside you would be an awkward situation
I would look in his wheelbarrow for a book titled “How to Avoid Being Robbed by This Guy Sitting Next to Me.”

Great strip as usual Dan, it’s really cool seeing Edmund in the “eerie zone” brings back a lot of memories of those famous Twilight Zone episodes. I hope they are still around when my kids get older. They don’t make good shows like those anymore.
They definitely don’t make shows like The Twlight Zone anymore. Rather depressing. My kids, if I ever have them, will have access to a Twilight Zone library.
Move on Edmund…. before he finishes the book. Aren’t books such useful tools. They are also great for swatting flies.
Yep, tie a book to the end of a broomstick and you can swat the largest of flies.
Step 1 in the book: using this book, render your intended victim unconcious. the real fun is the diagrams showing all sorts of methods for achieving step one.

Wow! You’re not going to believe this, but I grew up with a guy that looked JUST LIKE THAT! He wasn’t a reader though. Good guy, just not a reader.

Thanks, the glasses were fun to draw. Much easier than I thought they’d be. I was thinking “How do you draw thick GLASS?”

Strangely enough, I believe that’s the revised edition. The first edition omitted advice concerning whom not to steal from… like cops or hobos.
