A Halloween Toast

PleaseOne more day ’til Halloween!  Hopefully you all have your costumes already.  Starting this year I’m going to start my campaign to make October 30th the “funny/sexy” Halloween night, and October 31st the “scary” Halloween night.  Sexy nurses and Super Mario Bros and celebs and costumes with sexual puns aren’t exactly what Halloween is for, though costumes like those can be creative, so let’s split them up!  I would love to go to a Halloween party that looks like the “Thriller” video.  That would be grand.  Who’s in?  I’ll have a petition up soon (for next year, of course).

WoohoO! HapPleasepy Tuesday. As you already know if you follow me on Twitter, I’m working on a new Halloween wallpaper or two, which should be up tomorrow (Wednesday) or Thursday at the latest.

Or, if the Fearville wallpaper suits your fancy, go ahead and grab it from the calendar to your left.

Also, as mentioned in my blog post yesterday, I’m now a member of the grand webcomic collective, The Noir Project, so why not go give the other comics a looksee? Some good stuff there, if I do say so myself (and I do).

Speaking of clowns, maybe check out the rejection collection?  There are comics in there that were rejected by MAD and other publications.  I have a lot more but they’re in sketch-form, not finished and polished like these.  I’ll finish some up and post more soon.  Happy Friday!

PleaseHas anybody ever seen “Halloween III- Season of the Witch”?  It’s fantastic.  It embodies the look and feel of a Halloween movie (the holiday, not the series) just right.  I miss good horror movies, which is why I’m excited about Paranormal Activity.  I just wish it would come out here in St. Louis, MO.  Maybe soon.  Or perhaps I’ll have to wait for the DVD.
