I always listen to music for inspiration when drawing comics, especially Christmas comics:
abandonment aliens appearances art CEOs cleanliness contest crazy crime desert disputes etiquette flying food future gangs greed guest art halloween horror hunters information injury laziness monsters movies music ocean opportunity parties pets pirates prisoners rejected sea ship snow snowman technology tricks tropical video violence weapons woods
WP Cumulus Flash tag cloud by Roy Tanck and Luke Morton requires Flash Player 9 or better.
I always listen to music for inspiration when drawing comics, especially Christmas comics:
From what I hear, you’re not supposed to constantly change up your dog’s diet. This makes me feel sorry for dogs, because they have to eat the same thing every day. But then I think, “Did the people who played the munchkins in The Wizard of Oz play multiple roles? Or did they really have one actor per munchkin role? I mean, they were in such extreme makeup and costume, nobody would notice if it was just a few munchkins, but in different costumes at different parts of the march down the Yellow Brick Road to look like a larger group.” And then I realize that it’s a sad, sad world we live in that dogs’ diets are overshadowed by a movie. Toto would be sad, folks. Sad, and bored with his meal.
Bumping up an older blog post from June:

Boo, so Halloween is over. And Christmas is next week, according to retail stores. So, Happy Holidays!
In other news, if you haven’t voted for your favorite webcomics in the categories you see fit, go to WebcomicPlanet.com and vote! I’m not sure when voting ends but it does end, as do all things. Well, not all things. Apparently a circle goes on forever, since you can keep looping and it never ends. But, in my opinion, no closed shape ends. What’s wrong with a corner? A square goes on forever, too, as long as you just switch directions when you hit the corner. Is that so hard? Why does symbolism hate right angles? This is the kind of racism that I’m trying to end with my book “Different Shapes and Why You’re a Jerk.” Hopefully available on Amazon soon.
