If you get an angry political chain e-mail from an acquaintance, outlining all the reasons you should or shouldn’t support somebody’s policies, and it’s filled with hatred and condescension in a message you didn’t even want in the first place, I think the most appropriate response would be to “reply all” as follows:
Thank you for your e-mail.
