You know who burns popcorn a lot? Arsonists. Out of all the houses they set afire, I bet at least 35% of them have popcorn in the cabinets. Then the arsonist goes to work the next day and says, “Man, I’m always burning popcorn!” to his coworker and the coworker says, “Me too! haha,” and the arsonist says, “So do you want to burn down a warehouse with me tonight?” as the coworker says, “I think it’s the microwa- what?” and then conversations are awkward after that, because the coworker finds out that the arsonist is dating his ex.

Ha! Funny comic. But where did the thing about arsonists and popcorn come from? Is this based on a true story? You are the coworker I assume?
It is based on a true story- I burnt popcorn last night in my microwave. Also, at the office, people burn popcorn and stink up the office sometimes. My brain takes it on a tangent from there.
Have you ever wondered what it must’ve been like when popcorn was first discovered? I mean, how did that even manage to happen?
I guess some Native American was trying to breed a new breed of maize that was more resistant to pests and thus had tougher kernels, and at harvest time, realized that they were TOO tough. WAY too tough to eat.
So, in disgust, he starts tossing that crop’s harvest onto the bonfire.…
I bet it’s an Orville Redenbacher’s warehouse.
that would be quite a sight.
That’s cheating!
By the way I just read that a standard popcorn and soft drink portion in a cinema in the States is equivalent to 3 quarter-pounders topped with like 12 pats of butter in terms of calories. Delicious.
Wow, that does sound disgustingly delicious. I’ll see if they can give me butter packets with my next Quarter Pounder and I’ll try it out.
took me about 30 years to do that trick :/
Sending Paul some testosterone for xmas!!
Not too much, though. You don’t want Paul attacking Santa for invading his territory.
He should grow this beard: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=081dHOYY6IE
Crazy! I wonder how long and how many crew members it took to make that thing.
That may be the smartest man in show biz!
We could all learn a thing or two.
he should have seen that coming, really.
Ah, the dangers of being too trustworthy.
Oh sweet! That’s the first time I’ve seen my monkey avatar used
In retrospect, I suppose asking ‘How Long Does It Take’ would’ve been a good thing
Hindsight is 20/20 isn’t it?
nice pacing. Like the slight glance down in the 1 panel, heh.
Hahaha! That’s good stuff, Dan.
You know. I dont blame you, its me. Funny stuff
Well worth the wait, I’m sure!
Some people don’t appreciate that real talent takes time. Your monologue before the comic is good. I like abstract thinkers.
It’s always the ex…
And I finally figured how to make popcorn without burning it. I actually read the how to make thingy at the back and I now know that it only takes 3,5 min..and not uhm…6
Funny.
Nice copy-paste art
