No one suspects the turkey inquisition!

  2. speearr

You draw some pretty darn wacky turkeys!

    Also, cold waffles? Pfft…

    • Dan Long

They truly are turkeys that only a mother could love. And hungry people.

  3. Bearman

    Cold waffles…ewwww. Butter mmmmmmmmmmm..

You watch some commercials and say to yourself, “I could have done better than those turkeys” And then you realize how close to the truth you were.

    • Dan Long

I say that to 90% of commercials. I’ve actually contemplated doing a blog about advertising and how dumb most of it is, but I have no time!

  4. Nate Fakes

They should have a new law – NO putting out holiday displays until December! However, I think they should start Halloween decorations in June :)

    • Dan Long

As a person who celebrates Halloween intermittently throughout the year in anticipation, I agree!

  5. notapeopleperson

    Wouldn’t you know it…

It seems there’s always some ‘Turkeys’ behind managment decisions!.

    : )

  6. evandiaz

hah! Dig your writing as always Dan :D

  7. jynksie

I just came in from outside after finishing up putting the christmas lights on all the bushes before it gets to cold. Noooo, I don’t light them, but in New England you have to get a head start before the snows come. I had a couple turkeys helping me actually (in -laws)!!

This comic D, is spit milk out yer nose hilarious!!

    • Dan Long

Ah, in New England that makes sense. Just make sure to bake an extra turkey this Thanksgiving so these conspirators don’t win!

  8. Quinn

Loved this, the night i found the comic, which was just last week, i had to start from the beginning and read it all. any way just wanted to let you know i just recommended this strip to the folks at consumerist.

    • Dan Long

Awesome! Glad you like the strip, and thanks for the recommendation. Much appreciated.

  9. Matyas

There is nothing wrong with reindeer meat! :P It makes most food taste better ;P

    • Dan Long

I have had deer, and yes, it’s delicious. Just don’t tell the kids at Christmas that that’s what they’re eating :)

  10. Chris Watkins

    Finally, it all makes sense!
(Also: Christmas Dogs… what a great idea!)

    • Dan Long

An answer to one of life’s great mysteries. Now they just have to find a way to stop people from the tradition of eating turkey at Christmas as well.

  11. dgriff13

hee hee, thanks-what?-ing Day. Oh yeah, TURKEY DAY! GLUTTON DAY! bring it.

  12. DJ Bogtrotter

Ugh. Halloween does run right into Xmas now. I need a holiday from all the holidays.

    • Dan Long

Yep, I just went to Walgreens, and not only do they have full-on Christmas aisles, but also Christmas music playing over the speakers in the store. It is November 6th.

  13. George

Aha! I knew there was a conspiracy afoot!

  14. Bo Lumpkin

Actually when I saw the turkeys in suits and ties I thought it was either bankers or congressmen.

  15. snottypants

I went to Norway and ate reindeer, it was delicious :P

I remember at the 7/11’s you could get hot dogs wrapped in bacon, but I don’t think that either component was reindeer…

    • Dan Long

Hot dogs wrapped in bacon. Sounds like a good meal. I might have to try that.

  16. John K

Everything suddey makes sense…. Crazy turkeys.

  17. Cicada

From the top of the thread: “Python references are always welcome here.”
    They shouldn’t be.
