Am I the only one who enjoys reading generated spam comments from time to time? Like this gem:
Completely I share your opinion. In it something is and it is good idea. It is ready to support you.
I just feel like approving that one, even if it does link to some investment scam site.

well that’s certainly easier than lighting a fire in a damp whale belly

I rather expected Mr. Finney to have recieved more such comments, but…
Ah well. Perhaps Edmund’s “quest” would make a lovely addition to the newspapers.

@evandiaz: Thanks! Side note: I don’t know why I landed on “Hork”- it took me a while to decide what sound a puking whale would make.
@John K: I agree. Though, I hope I’m never in this dilemma to begin with.
@ ???: Thanks! Newspaper syndicates rejected it for being too different :/
@PaulTheWalrus: Hm, perhaps Edmund will run into them sometime in the distant future and we’ll find out…

lol, I love the motion in this page. And the sound effect. Fun.
This is the page that was up when I checked you out from WCPC. It sold me, hehe.
This comic's too good for newspapers.

I have to say that that is the funniest whale face I've ever seen.
Is the bird in panel 4 one of the vultures from the desert?
I agree they should put your comics in the paper. Right next to cyanide and happiness.

Wouldn't it be great if the newspaper comics page caught up with the times? Hah, I doubt that bird is a buzzard from the desert, probably just a confused seagull.

text of one i recently got:
[this was the heading:] Justin wants to be friends
“Hello not the man familiar to me! I only wished to write to
you the letter and to tell as in general my letter got to you!
First I would like to speak a little about myself my name is
Oksana to me 31 years. I live in Russia. All the others my data
and a photo in the appendix to the letter data. I was in
agency of aquaintance and to me advised yours the e-mail the
address. I only wanted that you have spent about 10 minutes
both looked at my photo and my data and recieved from you
the answer you would like to have aquaintance to me or you
only would not like this? Tell to me I so only the nobility it
much would like. Also I shall wait much your answer. Can you
send me you photo and story life on my personal e-mail:
romanticox30@gmail.com P.S. In this letter I am sending
you my photo so that you could see my appearance.”
i have to say, they actually didn’t screw up the spelling for once. but still…
1: so “Justin” is another way of spelling “Oksana”?
2: i’m PRETTY sure that “Oksana” isn’t a Russian name.
3: there was no attachment, since it wasn’t an email. it was a friend request.
4: looks like someone forgot to replace [agency of aquaintance] with an actual agency.
5: yes, you really will “await much[my] answer”. because there won’t be one.
6: the email wasn’t sent from the one that was in the message.
