Hey! Whoever has been Digging and Stumbling my comics has been AWESOME! You’ll notice little share buttons under the comics, and when you use them to tweet/stumble/digg/e-mail my stuff, the support is greatly appreciated and in no way goes unnoticed!
In other news, the MAD Magazine with my 3/4-page comic is soon to be out on the newsstands, so check it out! I’ll post on the day it happens (I believe it’s the 18th of this month), just to make sure you’re all alerted. It’s been quite a few months since I was in it last so it’ll be fun to see my name in there again.
On another note, please bear with possible errors and funky RSS modifications- I’m working on many features of the site and I’m no good at web coding. I might break some things before they work well…

Please tell me that the good news is that they aren't poisonous.
Congrats on the Mad stuff.

Thank ya sir, it's my first 3/4-pager (my other ones have been 1/4-page), so I'm excited to think, "whoa, look how much of the page this takes up!"

Thier business model can't be that bad if they've been around since 1957!

Yeah, you never know what wacky idea is going to take off next. I guess Al found a good one.

Oh, just great! Now, I've gotta mop up all'a this drink you made me just spit out laughing. I'm sending you my wet cleaning bill.

Awesome! Hopefully it didn't ruin the keyboard or monitor. Those things are expensive.

I was just thinking of where I could get a pillow case full of rattle snakes from.
I'll have to give them a ring

See? They've cornered a niche market, apparently.

Well, if nothing else, the rattlesnakes are comfortable! Congrats on the MAD!

Thanks! Yeah, looks like Edmund disrupted their naps. I can think of few things that would be more relaxing than napping in a pile of pillows with the rumbling of a moving vehicle.

Meh, I'm no good at web coding either. And I'm a professional coderer.

Ah, it's dreadfully complicated. When I first started the site, I had to look up how to add a background image. That's where I'm coming from. I'm surprised I haven't made the site melt off the screen with all the tinkering I've done (I say as I knock on wood).

I can just hear Samuel Jackson now: "I've had it with all these #%@&*!&*#@ snakes on this #$%^&*@#%#$! pillow truck."
Can't wait to see your comic in Mad!

That would be awesome. If I ever meet him at some kind of convention I'm going to ask him to record that into my phone so I can attach it to this page.

Thank you sir! By the way, being a webcomicker yourself you should get an icon so you don't have the generic monster one that my program assigned to you.

Sounds like a good model to me: Sell art prints along with a rattlesnake. Foolproof!

Congrats on MAD magazine–that's awesome! I love this strip–it has the perfect amount of absurdity.

Thanks Paul! And you may think it's absurd now, but just wait until that morning when you wake up in a panic saying, "I need pillows and rattlesnakes, immediately!" But Al will be there for you, because he doesn't hold grudges.

My local comic shop had a copy of the October 2009 MAD and I picked it up. Your comic, The Long and Short of It, is at the back but it's almost an entire page. And it's definitely the funniest strip there. Congratulations!

Hey, thanks! Won't take long to get caught up since I'm fairly new (as of March-April-ish). I'll have to check yours out too, and I'm loving the look of this: http://www.maroonedcomic.com/green-to-be-included…

GREAT STUFF!!! I especially like the "business model" one. Sent it to the crew at work.
Congrats and keep up the great work. Humor and art are both very very good.
