Cool Art: Photo Manipulations
on September 17, 2009 at 03:00When I see things like this, I wish I knew how to photograph things and then manipulate them in editing programs. But then I think that I might not want to know what my mind would come up with if I had that ability/superpower.

Hehe, actually photomanipulations like these are not as hard as one would think. And most people use stock photographs, they do not take their own. It takes some practice to really make them stand out, and of course a lot of creativity. But it is definitely within the grasp of the everyday man. So no plutonium gamma rays needed.

It would make a great strip if Edmund runs into the cat/frog people! If you want some tutorials on Photoshop, look up Scott Kelby and the Photoshop guys. They know their stuff and are pretty funny too.

Hey thanks for the suggestion, I’ll definitely check them out. This stuff interests me but it just seems like it would take so long to master that my lazy side keeps me away.
