My Art: The Hat

I love oil painting. I wish I had more time for it. This painting is from a class in college, where we were assigned to do a painting inspired by one of our favorite artists. It happened to be in October of the year, so I decided to base a painting off the style of Tim Burton.
I call it “The Hat,” and I wish I had a larger version of it photographed. I’ll make one soon. The painting itself is quite large, about 4 feet tall, I think, and stashed in a closet somewhere. I’ll take a high-def pic of it soon (without the glare of the flash, as this one has), definitely before Halloween.
