To celebrate Halloween, Edmund Finney comics will be up thrice this week: Today, Wednesday, and Friday! Of course, if you were a Fan of EQComics on Facebook, you would have already known this. I do updates, comic previews, and other bits of goodness on there for Fans to see. Why not become one?
Many more updates to come this week. Maybe even later today. For now, for extra Halloween-ness, why not ponder this thought?

Yep, there are pros and cons to everything. An optimist would say you’re still safe from the germs.

Being a little to smart for his own good right there….

Yeah now he has to think of something else, quick, before the water starts bubbling.

The boiling water just makes sticking your head in a vat of mouse traps a prelude to the “Lightning Round” of that game. I’ll take severed noses for $200, Alex.

Ooh, the lighting round. It seems as though, in this place, that would involve actual lightning.

Where was this guy at my childhood Halloween parties? Would’ve been a lot more interesting.
(Btw, I love the pumpkinhead!)

Hey I’m really happy with the pumpkinhead also- I think I’m actually going to do a painting, or detailed drawing of him for a print later. Glad you like it!

since when does ‘bobbing for mousetraps’ need a referee?

You know how corrupt sports are these days. Sadly, even monsters can be cheaters. Such are the times we live in.

Quick stick your head it before it boils and come out saying ooops I lost, I didn’t get a mousetrap. No trap, no germs, no boiled skin.

Hopefully there’s no penalty for losing, though.

Does Edmund remind anyone else of the guy in the back of the room who can never leave well enough alone? You know the one who always has a question after a long boring class or speach when they ask , “Are there any questions.” I have always wanted to boil some of these guys with mousetraps.

I hear that. My opinion: Stay after and talk to the teacher if you have questions. Everyone else can leave, everyone wins!

Oooh…it just keeps getting worse for Edmund. Hahaha!

Or better, depending on how you look at it. For example, if you like your head being boiled, then better.

I dont know anyone that would like that but if so all the better for them.

There’s such a matter-of-fact attitude to the way he solves the problem, I’m inclined to trust him.

He does look rather intelligent in his pondering pose. I’d trust him, if it weren’t for the horns. But maybe that’s stereotyping.

Hornyphobia? Hornophobia? I think the former refers to something else though…

That is by far my favorite game! (Second – of course – is playing Checkers in the fire pit.)

I saw an advertisement for this comic on White Ninja and was intrigued so I clicked. I am very happy that I did.
I just went and read through from the beginning. I really enjoy your art work and the strips are very amusing!

Hi Maz, thanks so much for the compliments! Glad to have you here, and good to know you liked the comics enough to read through in one sitting

I guess he’s not in a position to suggest Yahtzee
Then, who knows what Monster Yahtzee rules would be.

So I went to this party where you had to listen to and sing Grease Karaoke… And I owe about 300,000 in medical bills. And my insurance won’t cover PTSD counseling. But at least now I can keep out the thoughts of suicide.
Just take it one day at a time. I’m pullin’ for ya.
