Huh. I wonder how many miniature ponies IS a lifetime supply. I mean, they live, what, 25 years? I’m sure there’s a few casualties from all dancing and crime fighting. Hum… I wonder if the ponies would uncover Hector’s nefarious past and turn him in. That might be too much psychological and moral drama for the little pony brains to handle. There will probably be casualties from that too. Hmmm….
Good, George, I was afraid it was too long. When I finished drawing it and stepped back, I was like, “Man, that’s a lot of reading.” I lack confidence sometimes.
Man, if you ever had a character return–and I doubt you will but who knows!!–Hector the Great would have to be near the top of the list. Not only is he totally kooky, but he has really great expressions.
Oh also wasn’t his first question how many questions is he allowed to ask?

Cyclical arguments are the best.
I would argue with you on that, but we’d just end up right back where we started.

I would probably do about the same things. Wonderful ideas!
He’s got some solid plans set there, truth.

question one: has he successfully done this before?
If so, I wonder where the ponies are.

Obviously he sold them along with all his other assets.

Well…… you’ve got to have some sort of a plan….

Around where I’m from we have learned that when an escaped convict is really on a roll about his future you just have to let him wind down.
I’d like to hang out around where you’re from. Seems like a nice salt-of-the-earth place.

I think Kate Beaton is working on just this plan: http://twitpic.com/16nvv6
Awesome! I’m flattered to be linked to Beaton in some way, even if just through minature ponies.

What was I doing again?

Hector’s scheme makes a lot more sense than most people’s life plans.
Plus he allows others to ask questions of him, which is a quality most folks deny these days.
Very true. I enjoy true-life points to nonsense.

First question. If he trains his ponies to fight crime wouldn’t they arrest him for stealing all that money in the first place??
He’s obviously no genius.

Are you sure that they came out of a prison, cuz this guy sounds like a loony.
They may very well have escaped from the asylum. Maybe we’ll find out…

Hector needed a last name anyway. He kept getting mixed in with all the other Hectors.
“The Great” is a great last name to have, to boot.

Hahaha! I never wanted that story to end. That was a Loooong comic, and I had a ball reading it. I wonder if I could borrow that guy’s business plan.
Good, George, I was afraid it was too long. When I finished drawing it and stepped back, I was like, “Man, that’s a lot of reading.” I lack confidence sometimes.

You have absolutely no reason to lack confidence. I never get tired of Edmund and the interesting people he meets. The longer the better for me.

I just read through all the current comics – these are absolutely incredible! Where do you get all these ideas from?!?!
Thanks good sir! I have no idea where the ideas come from. My brain throws them at me and I draw them.

I love how the second and third panels are duplicated at the end. Great comic!
I’ve done it a couple other times (duplicating panels) when I really want to drive home a full-circle point. Glad you like it.

So, were they caught and escaped again, or just put on their old prison robes? Between this comic and the previous one, I mean?

The bank robber’s plan probably seemed less probable before My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
