Oh, now that is what I call lateral thinking.
Puns are always welcome here.

To see two guys with chainsaws resolve their problem restores my faith in humanity. Well, actually it just restores my faith in guys with chainsaws.
You mean you lost faith in guys with chainsaws at some point? I’ve always thought they were okay, when they weren’t standing at the foot of my bed in the middle of the night, waking me up by revving the motor.

Delightfully disturbing comic today, good sir! I applaud.
I thought it was a little *too* disturbing, but whatever, I posted it, and people seem to enjoy it. Good!

They had chainsaws, but what about a needle?
lol at panel three.
Perhaps one of the ladies had a sewing kit in her purse?

Chainsaws, bringing people together…
no, wait…
those are the stiches.
The stitches are a metaphor for mutual understanding in society! You see, we are all different, and love and understanding can… no, you’re right, just stitches.

Bah! You just took that out of Frankenstein…
Just kidding, nice work!
Yep, I’m giving Mary Shelley’s estate some royalties if I sell prints of this one.

I’ve been reading this comic for a while, and I have to say, it’s hard to find a good webcomic, but this restored by faith in humanity.
Ben that’s awesome, thanks for the compliment. This was one that I almost scrapped because I wasn’t sure it would “work” visually. Good to know it has a good reception.

Dude, that is one totally awesome ending to that story arc. I was sort of split at first over who I wanted to get the seat, but glad to see another split decision fixed the issue.
Hah, nice!

I was quite surprised at the end. I expected them to cut the seat in half.
As great as the finale was, I liked panel 4 the most.
Thanks, writing “bystander” dialogue is one of the most fun parts of “crowded” comics.

Taking the Judgment of Solomon a little too literally?
Hilarious stuff. Too bad he never got to go up against Leatherface!
I’m sure Leatherface will make an appearance at some point. I love the first movie too much to not reference it, probably around Halloweentime.

The story behind “Texas Chain Saw Massacre” apparently involved Tobe Hooper waiting in a very long line at a store, looking over and seeing a display of chainsaws and fantasizing about chopping down everyone in line ahead of him. Whether or not that’s just Hollywood lore is to be determined, but it looks like it could apply to the crazies seen here.
Edmund is going to have to pass by a barbecue shack one of these days…

I didn’t see that one coming but I had both my eyes on the guys with the chainsaws.
Never take your eyes off guys with chainsaws, especially when there are no trees around.

I hope for their sake that it isn’t a 3D movie they’re watching, because with only one eye each their depth vision would be non-existant. And that would no doubt ruin the experience.
When I was considering punch lines for the last panel, something along those lines was one of the considerations, but I decided to go with the more discomforting one, for some reason.

Please let the other person be called Malcolm! Then the song; “Malcolm solves his problems with a chainsaw” will finally be appropriate…. Please?

It is incredibly rare for me to be surprised by an ending. Thank you for the thrill. Now I must clean up the coffee I just spat everywhere.
