Rejected Comic: Belfry Meadows

A couple years ago I submitted an idea for a comic strip to syndicates (which I have done before as well). It was called Belfry Meadows, and it was a political satire involving woodland creatures. It happened to be done around the time of the ’08 presidential elections. I don’t really have a set political stance in any certain arena; rather, I like to see all sides, and I just think it’s fun to point out the absurdity of partisan politics. Below are the first two of more samples to come. The dumb Frog is a politician. The intelligent Turtle is his speech writer. Click the image to see it full-sized. Egad, how about that penmanship.
